Marnie is a harpist, singer and composer, who has been playing for concert venues and special events since the age of thirteen. She began her studies at age 10 in her hometown of Boise, Idaho, continuing on to complete her undergarduate studies at Indiana University, Bloomington, and her Master of Music at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland. She is currently sharing her time between the US and the UK, performing at venues on both continents while continuing her academic research in PhD program at the University of Edinburgh.
As a singer / songwriter, Marnie has had considerable success, independently selling over 5000 copies of her debut album, Sunday Skies, and over 2000 copies of Lost Angles. She is writing and recording music for her third release, which she will be touring to promote in Winter 2007.
Marnie's commitment to music has been enriched by her interest in film music. She completed the Film Scoring Program and the University of California, Los Angeles, and has been involved in several film scoring projects, incorporating her interest in film music into her academic pursuits.
